Is possible living without love? Only chasing an ideal?

It's not possible to live without love because we all feel it at one point or another. Whether it be the first person who we are attracted too in school or the person who we meet and end up in a long-term relationship. I'm not quite sure what you mean by an ideal. Maybe you could explain that one to me. Maybe you are thinking that love is something that you feel forever. If so then yes, you are chasing an ideal because that's not true. The feeling that we associate with love is only there for a limited time then it fades. Eventually it returns and repeats that process for as long as you are with a given person.

there are many different kinds of love but presumably you are talking about the romantic kind. Bit concerned about the word ideal. Ideal makes it sound like you are chasing something that maybe doesn't exist. Love is ever changing, ever evolving and usually comes along when you least expect or even want it! Be strong in yourself and independent and if love comes along you will get so much more out of it.

Well, none of us live without love - we all have family, friends - you know, that kind of love. Now if you're talking about "love" then I would have to say YES it is possible to live without it. What you SHOULD be living without is the time you're wasting "chasing an ideal". Love isn't something you chase - it sort of just happens. Good luck.

living without love is like the example of 2 babies when born and one gets love and attention and the other one doesn't. so the one who doesn't get love and attention, ends up dying bc the baby didn't have that care but the other one lived bc it was loved. i think that was a real experiment actually, i may be wrong if it was real or if its just a story example. if u live without love, you could die bc all ur life u have been loved at least by one person and u know what it feels like. um "chasing an ideal" i don't know what that means

There are many kinds of love. The love of and from parents and siblings, the love of and from a life partner, the love of and from our children and grandchildren, the love between true friends, the love for our neighbors, and most importantly the love of God. There is love of some type in everyones life. Love doesn't necessarily mean a sexual relationship. We all need to be loved and to love to be complete.

Love is a wonderful thing. It feels good and helps us to have a more contented life. It might be ok for a while, say if you have just come out of a relationship and you need a bit of time to yourself, but eventually you will crave it.

After being screwed over by my soul mate, I've come to accept that love doesn't exist. I've adapted to not having any love in my life.

but more important is to give love.....unconditionally......in this way the more you give, the more will come back to you
