some people say emo is music but others say emo has nothing to do with music its just a fashion trend

I believe that emo is the trend, but there are bands into the trend that are emo, making their music associate with the trend.
Thus, when it goes down in history, it will be both.
Edit... Emo is more like wannabe Goth.. there is very little real similarity.

Emo is once of those rich kids who is like no one likes me no one wants me I will wear these stupid clothes so people will at least look at be it is over depressed rich child rich of money or love and just wants to cry for attention

emo is like disco, mullets, leg-warmers, camaros, wrestling pants, punk, poodle skirts, saggy pants, etc.
All things that seem so important or cool at the time but everyone who's gone through a trend before knows......someday you are going to look at pictures of yourself during that phase.........and laugh
