am pretty ignorant - have bt internet and need javascript - mssg tells me that i have it but i have to enable it and i don't know how. can anyone give me step by step instructions?

Internet Options..." from the main menu
Change to the "Security" tab
Select "Custom" and click on the "Settings..." button
To enable: make sure "Enable" is selected under "Active scripting"
To disable: make sure "Disable" is selected under "Active scripting"
Restart the browser

I have had the same problem, I did what customc said. It was already enabled.
How to downlad the new version of flash is a mystery.

javascript is already on unless you turned it of. turning it off isn't simple so i suggest that it is still active.

the error you got probably also said something about flash needing an update. download the new version

maybe you don't have the latest version?? Go the the Java website and have them "verify installation" http://www.java.com/en/

could be you have a firewall that's preventing it from working too i suppose. have you checked on these two things?

you need to download it from http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp just click on download and run setup when downloaded you should not need to do anything after it has been installed
