A wonderful sight I once had (I hope the past tense counts!), was watching, from the cockpit of a glider, the effortless way in which a large buzzard was able to stay in the same thermal. We were two creatures of the air sharing Nature's lift, the difference being that the buzzard was hardly twitching a feather whereas I was sweating it out trying not to fall out of the rising air! If reincarnation is possible, I think I'd like to come back as a condor soaring the Andies. :- ) .

I saw the azure pool on the cover of the wilderness underground by Dwight weaver.That one has a difficult factor to it.
