For me I really like Gorrila Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain Heenen" they played so well off each other. Id say my second would be Jesse "the Body" and Vince McMahon. Also Jesse with Lord Alfred was great.

Hennan did announce during the 80's but most of his work was toward the end of it.

My favorite Jesse/Vince moment was on Saturday Night's Main Event. Hulk Hogan got attacked by Don Murocco and King Kong Bundy, and at the end Jesse says, "There's your champion, McMahon!", and Vince says, "You shut up Jesse! We need some medical attention for Hulk!"
They were a classic team.

Monsoon and Ventura. Heenan didn't announce much in the 80's. McMahon was a good announcer as well.

Yeah Heenan and Monsoon.
But the WWE announcers in the 1980s were all great. The only current play by play who even comes close to matching their quality is JBL, and he is bogged down in trying to carry Cole's commentary.
