Try your local Barnes & Nobles or Borders Express. Or poke around the dvd and music store in your mall like a Sam goodies or FYE (For your entertainment) not only do they sell anime dvds but sometimes they sell manga too. And if your lucky enough try and go to an anime convention, that is manga heaven.
Happy hunting!

There are some manga books at the library. I really like "Read or Dream," which can be found at any book store. The publishers, Dark House, and Tokyo Pop sell a lot of good manga books.
