You have to be careful because many “survey” companies define the word “survey” very differently than most people do. When I think of getting paid to take a “survey,” I assume that I will be paid to answer a series of questions about my behavior and preferences so that marketers can get a better idea of their consumers’ behavior.

Unfortunately, too many companies call themselves paid “survey” companies, and what they really do is show you a bunch of ads in the form of questions. Examples: “Are you interested in consolidating your student loans?” “Do you want a free diabetes health kit quote?” These types of “surveys” are actually called “paid to sign up offers.” It’s really easy money, but use a separate email address to do these because these misleading-type of survey companies will spam the heck out of you.

These paid to sign up “survey” offers are actually only a sub-category of paid sign up offers. There are many better, higher paying sign up offers, where you basically get paid $5-$35 to try out free products/services from companies like eBay and Netflix. If you don’t like the service, cancel within the trial period and still keep your cash bonus. If you do want to keep the service, do nothing and you will be automatically billed.

You can see proof (actual Paypal screenshots and scans of checks received) of which companies pay you to do either of these, legitimate paid surveys or paid sign up offers, by visiting www.FreeWebs.com/FreeOnlineBucks (if clicking the link doesn’t work, try right-click, select “copy shortcut” and paste in your address bar, or email me for more details).

i havnt tried express paid surveys either but i have made hundreds of dollars online thanks to paid surveys from various companies. i joined a site last year and ever since have made a killing. i never thought something so simple could make so much cash.. one of the best opportunities online i think that actually works and pays

Lots of folks make hundreds - even thousands - of dollars each month completing paid surveys in their spare time. And some use it as their primary source of income.

So can you.

They pay for 'completed surveys'. In my experience, it takes about 5 min to determine YOU don't qualify for a given survey. You will actually qualify for about 1 survey in 20. In 2 or 3 hours, you MAY manage to complete 1 survey that pays $1.00. You can make more money sitting on a sidewalk downtown WITHOUT begging.

I don't have any personal experience with that particular site, but I wouldn't sign up for any survey site which asked you to pay to take surveys.

A parenting magazine had an article about these types of sites earlier this year. (I can't remember which parenting magazine because I read several--it may have been Parents but I'm not sure). They said these sites usually mainly sign you up for other legitimate paid survey sites which you can access free on your own elsewhere. They paid the writer to sign up with one of these sites and she found that the surveys she qualified to take barely paid for the cost of the membership. (I don't remember if she signed up for several sites, or just one...and I don't believe they named which one).

There are legitimate survey sites out there, and you can sign up for them for free and make a little money (emphasis on LITTLE...I make about $20 a month...but that's just for a few hours work so its not bad. Its "possible" to make more, but not probable, because you won't qualify for all paid surveys, and the higher paid surveys fill up quick.

If you want to try out some free survey sites, I've listed most of the ones which I've been payed through on the following site (all are free to sign up with):

http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys

Most sites only send a few surveys a month, so it's really better to sign up with several free sites to get a more steady flow of surveys.

I also have a page of tips on how to spot survey scams:
