I was watching house hunters international last night and noticed that the washers machine is in the kitchen. Is it a dryer too? if it is why don't we have those here?

yes they use dryers and we do have them, I have one in my bathroom it works great it drys by condensation. it is a "supra" but there are many company that make them LG, Bosch and maytag they are very efficient and save energy but they are not cheap. i just went to the site where i bought mine from and they start at 850.00 and go to 1599.00 it is called "compact appliance"

I noticed this too very observant. They do use dryers though, everywhere but France, where they don't wash their clothes....

i live in uk and i think everyone here has them we also have washerdryers but they aren't that good.
