Our bodies are really a lot more sensitive than we expect them to be. Keep the appointment with your doctor...chances are you aren't pregnant and it has something more to do with stress, dietary changes, or possibly an hormonal imbalance. Even if you think you aren't under a lot of stress, your body may think differently. Are you having any weight gain or loss? Because that could be related. You could ever have a thyroid issue, or possible ovarian cysts. But only your doctor will be able to tell you for sure.

Could be lots of things. It's good that you have an appointment with your physician. Keep in mind that pregnancy tests that use urinalysis can have false negatives. The test looks for a hormone in the urine. If your body has not produced enough of that hormone yet, early in the pregnancy, it may not show up. Blood tests would be more conclusive. Are you having extra-ordinary stress in your life these days. Could be simple as tension. Change in diet could cause this. But your physician will have the best answer. Good Luck and I'll say a quick prayer for you.

Ok, ask your Dr. to do a pregnancy test with your blood. This same thing happened to my mom and they ended up doing an arthriscopic stomach scan and accidentily aborted the baby. She had no clue she was preggers, same scenario, the urine test that even her Dr. did was negative, and from that point on, with my brother and I we both had to be tested for through her blood, her urine test with me even showed up negative in her 9month of pregnancy. Some people don't resond to urine testing, so make sure they check for that!! Good luck!

Something with the development of the egg for that period might not of matured, resulting in no period for that month. You might also have an ovarian cyst. I had one on one of my ovaries for months and every other month I wouldn't have a period. If you haven't had sex then there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
GOOD LUCK!
