how much does a belly button piercing hurt?

I've been thinking about getting my belly button pierced but I am really scared it will hurt. People tell me it doesn't. So should I do it?

It depends on the person. Ive had my belly button and my tongue and the navel hurt way worse than the tongue.

Make sure you follow the directions and keep it clean. Otherwise it will get infected and thats's a bad deal. Also, make sure you get it pierced with a circle ring and not a curved bar.

Everyone's different. For some, it hurts tons and others not at all. It hurt me quite a bit and especially afterwards. But, my body rejects earrings usually so it wasn't a surprise. All of my piercings have got infected. When they go to pierce it, they use this clamp thing and that hurts the most. When they go to stick ya with the needle and the earring it's like a shot, but it may burn a little bit while they slide the earring ring through.

I heard it only hurts on the exact second you get it pierced. Other than that it most likely doesn't very much. :-)

Mine felt like a pinch, and then afterwards it just felt like it had been bruised. Its not too bad. If you've ever had a shot and you could handle that, you should be fine.

it doesn't hurt too bad, it pretty much only hurts when they're sticking the needle through so the pain doesn't last long

its quick pinch nothing to be concerned about, its just a lot to take care of after wards u gotta make sure u clean it real good , but i would definitely tell u to get it , i love mine

for me it hurt. there's also a crunching feeling that really gets to you.
