July 21, of this year. Most of the larger bookstores are doing midnight release parties, or things along those lines. Rowling's official site, Scholastic's Harry Potter site, and other websites (including Mugglenet, see below) all have info on the release, pre-ordering through Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Noble, etc. Hope this helped!
