Mine is the France vs. Germany World cup semi-final of 1982, when German goalkeeper H. Schumacher levelled Patrick Batiston of France on a breakaway and the referree didn't give so much as a free kick. This incident is about a minute and a half into the video.

England supporters hate to remember it, but the russian referee calling that ball that never crossed the line a legit goal against Germany in the 66 final. That is the biggest referee blunder in the history of football!

1980. Stanley Cup Finals. Philadelphia Flyers v. New York Islanders. Bob Nystrom CLEARLY offsides but ref makes no call and the Isles score to win the game.

Might have been Butch Goring, but 27 years and 40,000 beers cloud the memory.

Honest mistake, I linked to this question from the Hockey category.
