No, not at all. Pro-choice doesn't necessarily mean pro-abortion, and it doesn't mean they would abort just for the sake of being pro-choice. Being pro choice just means you want people to retain the right to do what they want with THEIR body, and that they don't want Big Government telling them what they can and can't do. If they are allowed to start there, what rights will they try to take away next?

There are 2 choices that can be made when one is pro choice, One of the choices is to have the baby. Your mother made that choice. The other is to have an abortion, which is what "some" people are referring to when they say that. Of course you have to understand that they are just trying to make a joke or an insult at someone's expense when they say this.

I don't know who that "some" is, but they have the quote wrong. It is "Aren't you glad your mother was pro-life?"
Alot of mothers out there are pro-choice and the argument is stupid, if anything. Even being a pro-lifer, I can't imagine what idiot came up with the argument or bumper sticker.

The fact that your mother was pro-choice when you were conceived just proves that you were wanted very much.
The statement, "If your mother had been Pro-choice..." is meant as an insult to you. It's like saying, "You should never have been born." Give it back--"Your mother wears combat boots."

being in favor of a womens right to control her own body and reproductive cycle is not even remotely the same as being for aborting your own or anyone elses child. To assume that someone who is pro choice would abort all of there potential children is very poorly thought out.

Um, no it doesnt make sense, because one of the 'choices' of a pro-choice person is to have the child. Your mother evidently chose to have you. This isn't rocket science dude. Have you had your coffee yet?

I'm pro-choice and I have two kids. My husband and I decided to terminate when we weren't ready to have another child. That's what choice is all about. And yes, we were using birth control.

Not at all. Many women who are pro choice would not choose it for themselves but for the victims of rape, incest or a dangerous pregnancy.
