Well.. if it becomes one sided it means there is no friendship at all.. because it only exists till then, when both have mutual understandings....
Firstly you have to be clear about friendship definition ..because friendship always does not mean love. Some people use this word as to express their love with someone. So if you are saying it in the same way in that case you better take a final call with him and come to a final conclusion and if you are not able to understand him or convince him you better do not give him importance anymore or to that friendship because there is no use of it.
And yes I know it is hard to do so..but you have to do it.....its your choice..
If this friendship does not have a link with Love in that case you better not to loose your friend in haste. Because sometime we take some decisions very fast afterwards we have to repent. So try not to loose your friend, for this you better find a way to convince your friend.
Remember It's always good to have friends who have good understanding with you but if things are really going against both of you, and you guys are not able to come on to the same path, its better you discontinue that kind of friendship. And remember that kind of relation does not mean that you are still friends.. It's The End Of Your Friendship....

U should break the friendship.
Becozz i too had the same problem wit my dearest friend
I was unable to concentrate on my studies
But now I have brokken the relation & never try 2 give it a second thought. Till she ask 2 Start it again.
So I advice u 2 do so

i don't believe that such thing can exist. Friendship requires two sides, otherwise it's not friendship.

what is happening is that your freind is pushing you out of there life and in reality does not want this to happen.Tell them "do not push me away because if you keep it up i will not be around for you to **** on"
