They are supposed to be able to talk to each other, but when I connect the PSP to PS3, the screen says "there is no PSP connected" - but it is connected via the USB port! Why won't it work?!! Anyone else tried this successfully?

you're going the wrong way about this!!you need to download update ver.3.11,its on the psp website.update, then boot your psp and ps3 up,select(on the psp)the network menu(furthest away one)and select remote play.make sure your lan switch on the psp's on and you've got an internet connection on your psp.your psp should connected to your ps3 without the use for a usb cable

We've got the same problem. I don't think its meant to connect via USB its got to be through wireless.
