my friend thats in 5th grade has a really sucky phone and is wanting a new one but her parents dont want to sign another contract for her to get a razar phone, so she thought she could get a prepaid phone or a go phone

Cingular's go phones are by far the best and most of them are reasonable

She can get a new phone cheap at the store she has her wireless service with. Prepaid phones are a rip-off! Sure, they all say 10 cents a minute but they charge you a dollar a day "access fee" just so you can make calls! That they don't tell you about; so it'll cost $30 a month just to be able to make calls (if you don't make any calls) plus the cost of any calls you do make. Be careful!

I've had tracfone, virgin mobile and now I have BOOST (sprint/nextel). And I have found they have better coverage/signal/prices than the others. At 10 cents a minute, you cannot beat it.
Boost has me for life.

Mine was from "Simple Freedom" by Altell (sp?) it was like 50.00 but it works really good! I still have mine but I don't use it anymore I have a new one. But if her parents wont let her have a regular phone why would she or YOU be allowed to have a pre-paid one? Theres not that much of a difference, lots of pre-paid cells arnt very good that's why my parents got me a new one! But W/e.

Tracfone because Virgin mobile will wipe out the minutes real fast.Tracfone only charges units for actual use.

virgin mobile phones are cute but the minutes dont last long im about to swicth to net10 instead..cheaper minutes more talk time and cingular is pretty good i heard.
