Yes, it's definitely cheating and unfaithful. You are the same person and should behave either online or in person and have some respect and loyalty for your partner and above all some self-respect. I think you would consider it cheating if your partner was the one did it. If you feel it's ok for you or your partner to do such a thing then you have so much in your personality and values to work on. If you cannot be committed enough to your partner then you better leave and work on yourself cause no one would accept that. Like someone said; it's really sad to be asking this question. Sorry to be harsh but it's the truth.

Not as the "physical" act of actually touching someone else, but obviously there is a desire to do so as whoever is doing the online activity or magazine reading is dreaming about being with that other person. I think this is far more harmful for married persons because not only have they taken a vow to forsake ALL others but online sex takes away from your relationship and the things you should be sharing with your partner inside the loving secure confines of your marriage. If it hurts your partner especially then NO it should not happen.

Yes it is !!! Do you know how many people start out doing cyber sex, and then meeting the person for real and having actual sex.
Cyber sex is emotionally cheating.
I feel its gross....... how can you do that with someone you dont know.... YUCK that's disgusting. If you feel the need to masturbate do it yourself in private... ALONE. What do you possibility get out of it other then attention. If you need attention that bad get some therapy.
