It's not canned for good, as a matter of fact, as soon as it went off the air on MTV, MTV2 showed the final card of the season without announcement. MTV, as a company, still seems intrigued by the WSX, but they don't want to put it up against such fierce competition as ECW. Although I doubt there will be much lobbying in the back offices of MTV for this show to go back on the air, something tells me that WSX wont be over after MTV's had it's way with it.
Expect to see it popping up on your fan friendly youtube any day now ;-) But that's just my take...

it was all MTV, all the way. they didn't like the WSX to be linked to dumbasses who do the moves that they were told not to do. and by the way MTV held this company back with the music. that and 30 minutes is not enough to for a wrestling show anyway. i hope that the FX network buy the TV rights since MTV don't want it anymore.

Because the "Wrestling Fans" were watching ECW rather than full of high flying moves WSX. as a result, all the ratings went to the Crappy Wrestling and WSX got poor ratings. all thanks to the so called wrestling fans who watched ECW instead of WSX.

It was not good.
It was only thirty minutes long and 5 minutes of that was music, 10 minutes commercials, its hard to put on a good wrestling progam without at least an hour because 7 minute matches are never classics.

It was canceled due to violence. MTV felt that it was too violent of a show to air on their network. he show was a "ECW Type" show, I mean the original, it has the ability to become as big as the original ECW and actually they are having the same problems as ECW did, too violent for network TV

Because it sucked.
MTV's origional hopes were that it would attract wrestling fans who do not normally watch MTV, that did not work and the show became a failure.

Nobody watched it and MTV was not patient enough to give it a chance.
