This happens a lot. Fill them in...not with a pencil....PLEASE! Instead use a slant brush and a matte eyeshadow in either brown or black...or mix them to get a med. dark shade. If you do use a pencil, use light strokes and only over the hair....not your skin. This way you'll avoid looking like an older gangster chick.
As far as growing them back....it depends on how far gone you are from what you desire. If you want real thick eyebrows you should wait at least a month. But if your the kind of person who's eyebrows really don't grow very much use a q-tip moistened with rogain (yes it really works). Only dab it on places where you want the hair to grow...it's very potent so use sparingly. Needless to say, wash hands throughly and avoid mistakes.
If you feel the need for desperate measures and you live in Los Angeles, CA. There's a place called Ziba. They work wonders. Ask them to help out (it's $25 for a sculping session with a professional...but it's totally worth it) in regaining your shape. They'll thread them really thin first but it'll look amazing...they'll give you a tip on how to fill them in. After 2-3 weeks they'll be in great shape again, that is if you keep their appts.

dont worry. it happens to all of us.
dont shave it.
what you have done will grow back soon enough but in the meantime go to the drugstore and there are tons of shades of eyebrow pencils. find the one that is your shade and then slowly apply it to your missing hairs.

Shave them off completely. They will grow back in a few months.

Do what my grandmother does, draw them in with a pencil. No one even notices unless they're within 6 feet of you.

Do what us Latinas do!
Shave the rest off and then take a pencil and draw a thin line in!
