Well first of all Im 17 and i have a 1 year old child , i got my ged and i plan 2 go to college but yesterday my b/f and babyfather of 3 years proposed on the phone and i though he was playing but he wasnt and i said no, by the way we dont live together. So now he is acting really hurt but he should understand that im not ready yet and he made me feel really sad which is how i feel now because now i will never know if he is going to propose again and he is 22 and finish college but im not ready to do that big step yet im still young, but then i feel really sad for him and he said he will never feel the same what should i do to make it better??

Dont feel too bad for him babe, you are far too young to get married, you know it, so dont be emotionally blackmailed, if he loves you, he'll get over it, tell him if you are still together when you are ....say 22.....whatever age, then maybe, but for now, you are focusing on your studies and your child.

Just call him back , tell him youve thought about what he asked and then just explain what you stated above to him and then ask him to ask again after you graduated from college. If he cant wait for a couple more years how is he ver going to make it thru years of marriage?Good luck

You made the right choice thinking of your education and what is best for you------you are still young and need to prepare your self for the future.....The main thing is not to get any more babies and work hard in college!
