Yes ... but will it save more lives or save only American lives? My guess is that if the USA pulls out today, or tomorrow, there will be a blood bath of such proportions it will make the constant three here and eight there numbers seem totally and complete inconsequential.
Whose lives are you talking about saving? I'm all for saving lives. I just have a major problem when people are so self serving they only care about the lives of people from one country, and not saving the lives of people from all countries.
