What were the biggest stars wearing in the 50's? I'm going to a dance and i really want to look glamorous. Also, what should i do with my hair? It only goes past my ears a few inches. Please and thank you.

If you have the time, go to a fabric store and look through some of the pattern books. Some of them have retro patterns. The 50's were not quite as glamorous as the 40's. But you can have a lot of fun with it. See if you can rent a movie of that era...That would give you a lot to go on.

If you want Hollywood glam, I suggest that you rent some old Fred Astair movies, or Esther Williams both had great dress in all the movies.
