I have an ipod nano but my brother cut the cord that attaches it to the computer! I dont wanna buy another cord because they cost alot of money. And my brother wont buy me a new one because he just wont. Is there inother way i can charge my nano without plugging it into the computer. I need a chhep way to do it. My mom has a 2nd generation shuffle and my brother has a normal shuffle is there a way that i could use a cord from one of those two ipods to charge my nano?

hi lovemusic! unfortunately, no u cannot use the cord from the shuffles for ur nano.

but if you r handy with wire cutters and have some electrical tape, u should be able to fix the cable ur brother cut, or at least take the two parts of the cable to someone that knows how to strip and reconnect wire. the wires are probably color coated so it really is just a matter of stripping the wire housing, matching wire colors, reconnecting and tying, then applying electrical tape!

No but if you have a Docking station or an iDog hook or plug it in to that .(No cord required for Docking) If you have an iDog follow these steps
1) Find cord that goes with iDog
2) Turn on iDog
3)Plug in ipod
4)Turn off ipod but leave iDog on.
If you have a docking station follow these steps
1)Turn on docking station
2)Push iPod into docking station
3)Turn off ipod
4)Leave docking station on and let it sit
If you have neither then try one of these suggestions
Buy a new cord,Break your brothers cord too,Use a friends charger, or take it to the apple store and have evrything replaced.

nicely I even have an ipod nano and audio device, a protracted because of the fact the audio device are plugged into an electric powered outlet interior the wall, and the ipod is hooked as much as the audio device, it is going to cost.

i think the cord for the 2nd generation is the same one for the nano.. try that one. or just look online for a cheaper non apple brand cord
