Street smart and I think I would rather be street smart then book smart. Due to the way the world is changing I am glad I know what I know. I will survive and I will need no book to try to teach me how when times are getting tough.

Street smart. My three younger brothers and I were once babysat by a senior class valedictorian. She was completely lost when it came to cooking cleaning discipline and changing a peed in diaper and puting a fresh one on. Let's just say she still owes me money. I still can't believe how book smart she was and yet seemed so stupid when it came to simple tasks. I can't cook well but I can do all the other things, and yes I am a bit of both, but all of one or the other is NOT GOOD.
I grew up in a town of 300 people so street smarts were not needed, we all did drugs at one time, but mostly limited to weed and drinking. There was no gangs and no violence there except for bar fights.(4 bars-1 church) it was nice, but all kids there had limited experience in street smarts and we keep ourselves true to what we know.

I am both; I like to learn things from books and my life experiences have taught me street smarts. I think street smart is more useful.
