lost songs?

I am new to this. please help. I downloaded my limewire into a file so I would not lose it but I can not find It, please tell me how to get it back. Can I put my music back in limwire?

It's called a folder, not a file, the thing you put the music files in.

There are 2 good ways to find it. 1) View by date, and look toward the top for the latest files added to your computer 2) do a find file search, and use .mp3 or m4a or whatever the extension is, and submit the search.
