Excuse me, but I don't think your question was meant to apply to Americans in general. If so that would not be true, because it is tough to generalize things like behavior to a whole culture or group of people. What is the motivation behind your question? Is it literal or metaphoric? I mean, if you consider verbal attacks or physical attacks, even without actual murder, as killing, then I can see how your question makes sense.
I think its fair to say that its difficult for a person to take it when someone disagrees with them. Nobody likes to get into a disagreement, but sometimes one has to disagree to move forward with things, you know.
Now that I think about it more, I think your question may be referring to the fact that the US have sent out troops to Iraq post 9/11, to track down and kill the people responsible for the 9/11 attack. Even that, though, is something that I can't explain.

Not all Americans do-just Dubya and the prats who agree with him.

I'm a Brit and not a great fan of the USA anymore(though I used to be) but still they are not all evil.

The republican types that are think they rule the world and have the right to force their kind of democracy on other countries. They need to be taught a lesson.

I disagree. When they killed Americans on the U.S.S. Cole, America did nothing. Then the bombed the American embassies in Africa, America did nothing. When they used car bombs to try to topple the World Trade Center, America did nothing.

The world called on America for help in Somlia and they brought food and tried to establish peace and the Americans were killed.

The world called on America to help stop the fighting in Bosnia and they came to help. They were killed there too.

When they killed over 3,000 in New York with passenger jets, then America said "enough". The Taliban was overthrown in Afganistan, and Afganistan was established as a democracy. America asked for nothing in return except for a stable peaceful government.

When Saddam Hussain was ignoring calls fo the United Nations, America took action to remove him from power. All America asked for again was a stable peaceful democracy. But the people of Iraq have killed over 3000 Americans as they struggle for domination of their own country. Shites kill Sunnis and Sunnis kill Shites, while Kurds hate them all. Who will win? America want to leave Iraq. It is not a popular war. But what will happen when we do? The good people of Iraq will suffer the most when America leaves.

The world depends on America to make the sacrifices when there is trouble in the world. But nobody offers to help America.

Do you live in America?? If so, you are a hypocrite. If not, keep us out of your stereotypes!!! Most Americans don't want to kill anyone. Here's a better question, Why are you so ignorant??

Hmm... I don't see too many people in the United States crowding out into the streets hollering "Death to Iran! Death to Muslims! Death to the Infidel!"

Amazing that someone can spout that crap, then throw a violent fit when someone draws a picture of their dear and fluffy prophet.

It's funny, though... I'd almost feel better if a foreigner was killing my people instead of my own brothers and sisters. I'd hate to see my 6 year old nephew running down the street with a bomb strapped to his back screaming "Death to you! You do not accept our prophet's successor! We will kill you! Boom!"

It is the natural evolution of an empire.
At some point, citizens of empires deny the existence of others. Should this view be challenged, eliminating those from beyond their borders is the natural approach.
We've seen it before. Rome, Greece, Persia, Arabs, Hitler...
