Not even close. During a losing streak Phil gets down on him and the team and makes him take into his own hands. You will also notice they have won all 4 games and stopped a 7 game losing streak. Wait til you see what he does to Golden State tomorrow. The only chance to stop him from making it 7 games is Houston (or exhaustion) Friday night. He only scored 20 in the last game against Houston but scored 53 in Dec. So it can be done.

No, Kobe is not a ballhog. He loves to shoot, and maybe at times he does take too many shots, but the only reason the Lakers won the last 4 games was because Kobe Bryant scored 50+ in each of the games.
It's amazing how little respect Bryant gets, but how everybody was on Jordan's bandwadgon.
Give him a little respect & admiration.

Yea, Kobe is abit of a BallHog, if your asking me, but he has no choice. Without Kobe taking most of the shots (making most of them), his Laker team wouldn't be in the playoff race by now. Kobe is the main leader, which makes him have to get the ball because no one on his team can take the responsablity of leading the team to victory. But with Kobe BallHogging, his team won't make it to the Championship game.

So what if he is, he needs to be, his team also won all those games..Damn, why do people always have to hate on greatness. Not even the great Micheal Jordan has ever scored 50 points in 4 straight games...and in this case Kobe needs to be a ball hog, because of all the injuries the Lakers have, this isn't about playing fair, let everybody shoot, I want Kobe to shoot the ball everytime he touches it, because more likely than not, its going in!!!!!!!!

Nah, I beg to differ, After suffering several straight loses, and after Kobe's 65 point performance I said to myself...I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps this up. Kobe needs the ball, not the whole game but a majority of the game He's just trying to keep the lakers playoff chances alive, I mean, they have won four straight while scoring 50+...Kobe I mean. So to answer your ?. No he's not a ball hog,,just a baller.

Not at all. Kobe is trying to make sure they get the 6th seed and play the Spurs (which they will beat) instead of Dallas or Phoenix in the first round. When the Lakers are healthy The have very good ball movement and are a team that no one wants to face in the playoffs

Completely agree with Farez. Stop hating on Kobe. You are either hating on him for his fouls and being too aggressive or now that he is a ballhog. Get off him! He is an amazing players that is making history.

well... though it seems that way, after a poor losing streak he kinda had to take it into his own hands. its obvious the lakers are nothing without the best in the league and the past four games are proof of that. kobe had something to prove and he is just showing how much they need him. the way he's playing lately, it sure makes a lot of people think he just might be mvp this year...

Please people wake up and smell the coffee! The lakers have no talent outside of Lamar Odom. So Kobe is doing whatever it takes to get this bad team into the playoffs. Would y'all rather he pass the ball and continual to lose like Kevin Gernett ??
