The volume works for itunes and such, but not for the webpage. I tried to play some of my videos on youtube and the sound wont work. When I try to open up the thing to change the volume I get this:

I tried doing what it says, but I didn't know what I was messing with. I don't know what to do.
Help!?!?!?
(for speakers, I use ones that just plug into the headphone jack)

Sounds like you have an audio card that has only one channel for sound and you don't have a software sound mixer installed to mix audio from more then one program. I thought Windows had all that built in so the only suggestion I have would be to reinstall your audio card drivers. You could also try closing the program that works with sound and checking if the other program will work then, but then you will only be able to use one sound producing program at a time.
