It never fails to amaze me just how ignorant of how government functions democrat voters are.

They ran on nothing. They claim to have America behind them .Yet they have done nothing with their new power but lie and investigate. They are wasting a chance to do something.

The Democrats know what they are doing. They are taking notes as to who is voting against the will of the people and who are voting with the people. Expect the Democrats to relentlessly remind voters of who these people are. Gee that would mean a landslide for the Democrats not only in the Presidency but Congress too. Sort of like Johnson did to Goldwater in 1964.

Why do you think that just because the President is a Republican he should get to do whatever HE wants? The Democrats have done nothing. Bush keeps on blocking any attempts to change policy. You need to get your facts straight.

Those few seats made them the majority party. However, 2008 is coming and the Republicans can reverse that !!

It was so different when the Republicans held the majority of seats? Please. It's not a matter of doing what they want, like teenagers having a party because Mom and Dad are out of town. It's about finally having some checks and balances on this elected President who insists on acting as though he is a dictator. He operated that way with a Republican majority for six long years, now he can't any longer. It's clear he is the one acting like a spoiled brat who finally had some restrictions placed on him, not the other way around.

They think that a 1 seat majority in the Senate gives them absolute power with The Mighty Nancy.

They seem to think they have a mandate to do whatever they want. I think they will be punished in 08 for what they haven't done! I do wish they would refrain from saying repeatedly "the American people want", no we don't and I wish they would not speak for me. I don't think I could ever vote for a democrat now.

They only won because the Republicans in those few seats were more liberal than the Dems that replaced them.
