I wouldnt buy anything Land Rover. They have a horrible reputation for breaking down, and you'll spend more time in the Hertz rental car they give you at the dealer while your car is constantly in service. Plus, Land Rovers do not retain their value very well, you'll end up hating the car then you'll take a huge bath on it when you try to get out of it. If you want a nice midsize SUV look at a Cadillac SRX crossover or a Lexus. Lease them if you can. The value on any high end car will sink like a stone so its not worth financing them

These are a status symbol that's a very high-maintenance one at that. I would stick with a Ford Explorer or Chevy Trailblazer. These aren't perfect vehicles either, but will break down a lot less than a Land Rover will.

Save your money. Save your time. Save your aggravation. Buy Japanese! Land rovers are unreliable, expensive to repair, not comfortable, not even good looking. Nissans and Toyotas are the best. Turn on to CNN news tonight. Why do you think the United Nations use Nissans and Toyotas?

Consumer reports usually pans these cars as being unreliable. If you want a gas guzzling unreliable car that depreciates a lot, just buy an Escalade. The new one looks very nice.
