No, you shouldn't keep it up.

You can put up a P, for Pass, and keep it up for your first year, and that will get you some respect amoung pedestrians (and in some towns it will give your leniancy from the police, because they know you're just new). It'll also give you an excuse to park funny.

If in the UK it is actually illegal to display L plates if you hold a full licence.

You can use P plates for a while if you want other drivers to give you a bit of extra space.

No but get a P sign to show you have only just passed. They then know you might be a little bit wary on the road as you have only just passed and don't have the experience.

Are you sure you've passed? If so, of course you don't, that's the point. The standard of new and especially young drivers is dropping, I hope you consider further training as the UK driving test is nowhere near as hard as it should be.

Congrats! As others have said you cant have a L but your welcome to put on a P. I passed in January and still have Ps on. Lots of people say your better without them, but I think they give me a bit more confidence - especially if Im going somewhere I havent been before.

No, once you've passed your test you don't have to display anything.

nice one

No you don't have to show them now but think about using the "P" Provisional. Hopefully people see this and give you a bit space - unless you feel confident of course

No..You can display the "P" for probation but i wouldnt recommend it..It just draws unwanted attention to yourself and its not necessary.
