Visit 2 or 3 banks and tell them what you want.
Beware of fees.

Make sure you have your account in a bank that doesn't charge, if you go below a certain amount in your account. And I also agree with checking in to a Credit Union...

Go with one of the local banks, Wells Fargo is terrible, they have a bad attitude because they are the big fish, and a smaller less known bank will give you better deals and better service.

PNC Bank offers free checking and the minimum amount is $25.00 to open it. You can also get direct deposit with your checking account. That way your paycheck can go straight in your account. You also get a debit/ATM card with the Visa logo on it with your checking account.
