There is a problem with that conception. If you went back in history and changed one major event, it would filter down through the ages and make everything different than what it is now. It could be better, but it could also be much worse.

I would change the invention of organized religion (look at all the damage it's caused)

I would have not allowed Socrates to be put to death (the man was very very wise for his time)

Slavery and the confinement of native american Indians to reservations would have never happened.

Jim Crow laws would have never been instituted.

Lincoln and Kennedy would have never been shot.

The Holocaust would not have happened either.

Wow, looking at history, the white man doesn't look so good, does he?

I'd change the lack of common sense that some how disappeared within the 20th century and is now ruining the 21st century. Somewhere along the line most people lost it and it's now affect how the world thinks. It's crazy.

Domesticate a Dinosaur then religion would fall on its knees instead of blackmailing followers. The terrorists of the world all come from Religion and yet, its still legal.

I would change what we did to the Native Americans. We were selfish and cruel, and wrongheaded. we should have treated with them fairly. there was room enough here for the both of us. we should have treated them with respect, instead of just professing it while we fingered our knives.

and Mike T is wrong. the Bible does have dinosaurs
