... or did He feared the good health of Adam & Eve ?

The World consider the APPLE to be the BEST Fruit of choice for Good health,
by saying "An APPLE a day keep the doctor away"...
But why did God prevented Adam and Eve from the same APPLE considering it as an forbidden fruit.. in the garden of Eden ?

From one angle yes. But i think it was a test kept for human-beings and to keep the result as an example for them. May be if both had passed the test he would have blessed Adam & Eve to eat the fruit later.

So from my point of view He is not jealous but He is selfish. He created us because he was feeling lonely, so he wanted a toy to play and so did he create everything on this world.
Like how the parents want children for them to keep away from worries, troubles, take care of them during their old age and take their name to the next generation.
Likewise He also wanted his children, his devotees to sing for him, praise him, speak his greatness' etc.
Did you know without a devotee or a human being God is nothing at the same time without God man is a "ZERO"

Once i too asked a religious person for one of my friend, who had done no harm to others but is suffering from many problems. To which he said, "it is because of the karma in the previous birth."
I asked him in return, "Why did He not prevent a person while he is doing that mistake, if God had done so, there would be no sins, no sufferings and peace would prevailed in this world."
To which he said, God has sent us to this world to enjoy his creations and not to do any sins or harm others and his duty is only to guide people, it is we human beings who have to live by his guidelines," said the religious person.
But i am till date not convinced from these replies. Because if at all Karmas in the previous birth are the cause for the sufferings in the next birth, a person who is suffering from the so called, 'his karmas in the previous birth' will have no room to realise his mistakes and repent for the sins committed. Instead the person his just going to suffer without knowing for what he is penalised by the nature, with out knowing for what he is answering or suffering, allowing mistakes to grow generation after generation, and moreover the person who suffered from one's hand in the previous birth is not going to know or realise that the person who did the mistake was punished or has repented.
So people who do sins will continue to do sins. And generation after generation the sins will be continued and people who live to the perfection will have to suffer always.
Instead God the almighty can control all this sins - he says he is the almighty and keep every one good, why is he not doing that. "IF THE WORLD IS AT PEACE WHY SHOULD WE REQUIRE GOD" that is why i say God is even more cunning and selfish person than human beings.
One more thing i dont understand, some say you have to cry and ask God, but i dont want to ask God any thing, I just want to only thank him for what he has given. He has to give the same to every one on this world to enjoy equal priviledge, only then he is a true God.
Yes otherwise he is partial, selfish, than human beings.

well, I think that in biblical times, there wasn't a lot of food that was bad for you, such as twinkies, mcdonalds, donuts, etc. So I don't think it was a nutritional issue.

I think that the apple was a metaphor for sex. "forbidden fruit" was not actually fruit. Eating an apple could never be considered a sin. So the apple could only represent something else. Although this seems like a contradiction because when there was only Adam and Eve, they needed to procreate to populate the earth, so having sex shouldn't have been considered "bad".

I'm sure that many theological studies and debates have taken place on this exact subject.

Of course, there are many many other similar contradictions and/or hypocritical stories in the Bible. If you tried to figure them all out, you'd go crazy.

Was it in fact an apple, or is that what we assume it is?Furthermore, my bible doesn't call it the "forbidden fruit". It's called the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Anyway- the reason why God put the tree in the middle of the garden was because it was a boundry. If God just let people do what they want (which was eventually what they ended up doing), then why would we need God? Life now, as weel as in the garden, has boundries. And, I say this to go beyond morals. Like sex, sex is ok inside the boundries of marriage. But if used outside those boundries, it can mess you up. Anything from emotions to disease to jealousy and envy. And that's why it's always good to obey God's word. I hope I was helpful in your question. Have a good day, and God bless.

Creation forms when energy explodes
and interfaces with invisible forces known
as Laws Of Physics.
Time and space are by-products
of this reaction. The "Big Bang"
is merely a point in a cycle.

Creation's design is God's gift for
life, and is always the same up to the
point of water. After that, species are
on their own.

As far as apples and forbidden fruit go,
it's probably time to let go of yesterday.

I do not believe that it was a apple, yet it could.
Some say bananas.
Some say pomegranates.
Some say bananas.
I wonder if it was not pepper considering we use it for food
to make it spicy or spicier.
Maybe it is mushrooms considering the open the mind some.
It could be something else.
It is something that none of us really are sure of know
unless we have artifacts or books that take us back to the 1st Day.

these all stories are very interesting.

we are living 21 century, there in no Edan garden.

because god says that this is not a simple apple, this is a apple of knowledge. so god does not that some eat that apple and become more intelligent more than god. when Adam and eve eat that apple, god send them here.

i did had not eat any apple because i don't like apples, than why he send me here.

if we see that generation start from Adam and Eve, that mean they both was a sister and brother, than how they had any sexual relation with each others.

so these all are stories.

Actully, the notion of it being an apple is used colloquially, but there is no reference to that in the old testamant, just "the forbidden fruit." I don't think it was meant literally.

Funny, because I just answered another question about changing history with "Eve and that damn apple." lol.

No why should be jealous, secondly both of them were and the so called apple were creations of God.
He is the programmer of the fruit and He knew about what this hard ware will do once it enters there OS.
Thinking that deep leads you to nowhere, read your holy scriptures by understanding.
We all commit mistakes but he forgives us.
IF YOU HAVE LOST SOMETHING IT WILL OR A BETTER ONE WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU.

Bible does not say apple was the forbidden fruit. Why would God be jealous of something he had created?

it rather is it. There *are* different gods (with a small g). diverse religions have diverse gods and a few coach that the guy IS the god. He should be jealous. He supplies us a lot and asks little or no in return.
