this is the scenario
A service user wants to tell you about her daughters visit. Her daughter has just come back from Egypt where she has just been on holiday with her children (your service users` grandchildren) and has left some photographs which the service user wants to show you. There are three children. A boy and identical twin girls.

i need to show how Reflecting back, Body language and Eye contact will be used to communicating with this service user and the scenario

Well, whilst the service user is talking to you, you would need to maintain eye contact to show that you are listening. The body language - sitting upright and open is ideal, not lounging back with your arms crossed in a defensive manner. You would want to be asking appropriate questions - such as where they visited, how cute the children are etc. If the service user was upset (ie no contact with the children) you could nod empathetically and offer support.

if she is non verbal then its a case of u having to ask her questions , u would need to find out from her daughter all the relavent information, the kids names , their ages and then its a case of watching her body language and eye contact ... u are showing her that u understand what she is trying to communicate to u ....
