I have a very simple question. Do you think your husband is the one who you can rely on all the time? Is he always cheerful? Is he always helping around the house? Is he appreciate what you have done? Is he always think that he is the man and he should make her woman happy?

I believe your question is outside the bounds of reality. I am happily married and my wife is not always cheerful, and she doesn't always make me happy. I don't think she always appreciates everything I do for her.. But you know, nobody is that way.

If you expect that your future husband will always make you happy, always be encouraging, cheerful and helpful, then you will never get married. Nobody is perfect, not even you. People have flaws. People even have problems so big that they have trouble dealing with them. The thing about a marriage is that two imperfect persons get together and somehow make each other better persons.

Don't look for someone you can rely on all the time, or someone who is always cheerful. Look for someone who can compliment the way you are, and someone who will work toward the same goals as you.

I can absolutely rely on my husband all of the time.

Does he help around the house? He tidies sometimes, and will wash dishes if they are in the sink.
Does he cook? Yes, if I was too busy or had an emergency or stayed out a bit late with my sisters.
Does he work? Yes. 10 hour days, and occasional overtime.
Is he always cheerful? No. But he has a rough, physical job, so I understand.
Does he appreciate what I have done? Sometimes. I don't know if he is awake enough to notice when he comes home from work. He's pretty tired...

But he does say "thanks for breakfast...lunch...or dinner...dessert...", or "nice job with the table...", or "my clothes smell nice..."

Does he notice everything? Not really. But he tries to be appreciative and attentive to details.

Does he think that he is the man and he should make me happy? I don't know. He indulges me, and lets me have my way more than I should. And I indulge him back, probably not nearly as much as he deserves.

And because we strive to keep our marriage strong, despite what life hands us, or personality differences, our marriage has lasted for two decades plus.

Yes, I think my husband is someone I can rely on all the time, just as I am someone he can rely on all the time. He's not always cheerful, but then, neither am I. He doesn't help around the house much, but he does work outside the home, and he has a hard job. He appreciates me and what I do for him and our kids, and he does try to make me happy. We've been married a long time, and if he wasn't someone I could rely on, then we wouldn't still be together.

When we first got married I felt like a nag a lot of the time. He wouldn't notice or do anything unless I told him about 10 times. Now after 10 years he does a lot more without having to be told. I found if a man takes out the trash (give him head), if he puts his dishes in the sink (give him head), if he puts the toilet seat down (give him head) you get where I am going...

When you find out that this works...Hubby will be doing everything for ya! My husband tells me all the time how much he appreciates me and even tells me I do too much now, and to go take a break and let him finish the dishes...LOL! This also makes for a great sex life!

My husband is a really special person-----he takes care of our child while I work and go to school! I can rely on him to get whatever it is that our child need. He does most of the house work. I appreciate him even if he does not appreciate me!
