Recently ive been called an emo. but what is an emo i thought it was just a genre of music!!?

Emo is an emotion person who cuts their wrist whenver they get emotion(always). It's also a music genre 'cause all the Emos listened to a certin type of music. Emos are hot.

This is an answer to one of my questions about the definition of an 'emo':
Cos 'emo' as I get called
are either bisexual or gay (I'm not I'm straight and in a relationship)
Cut Themselves (I done it ONCE accidentally and left a scar)
Are Always Depressed (I'm a happy person sometimes)
If u have black hair and wear a lot of hoddies and eyeliner u r an emo (I have got a red fringe and black hair i wear eyeliner Cos i look dead without it and I wear hoodies Cos they r really comfy)
Emo's hairstyles are cooler than any hairstyle you can think of hence my quote 'Emo's hav cool hair' now everyone uses that quote hehe.Chavs hate us.
Emo was based on music then us emos used their fashion sense and hairstyles.
What's wrong with an emo? NOTHING unless ur a chav hu hates emos!

it a person who is emotional. Emo is short for emotional. Its not someone who cuts themselves and wears black

but there really is no such thing as emo.
i get called emo, knifer, goth, you name it i've been called it.
labels are for soupcans. so stick that in their face.
