Yeah. I'd LOVE to just go off on some people that I call at work (I'm a telemarketer) and yeah, I know my job is annoying, but that doesnt' give you the right to be MORE rude. Since when do two wrongs make a right? I'd love to just tell these people:
1) There IS a do not call list..use it, otherwise STFU.
2) I am NOT a mindreader. I do not know when you are having dinner, changing diapers, doing homework, working from home, having sex, taking a shower or anything else.
3) You CANT tell me you're "not interested" when all I've said is my NAME. Sorry you dont like my name, but I was born with it. Get used to it.
4) For all you oriental people...lol, it's funny when you say "I'm not inter-est-ing"...I'm sorry your life is so boring *shrugs*.
5) If you dont like the phone calls or dont want us to call back, quit hanging up before we tell you why we're calling.
6) customer: "get a real job"..my reply? "Well sir/maam, I don't cash imaginary paychecks".
7) customer: "Do you know what time it is?" my reply: "Yes sir/maam, I learned to tell time in like 1st grade. How bout you? If it's so late and it's bothering you so much, why don't you turn the ringer off or why did you answer the phone in the first place?"
8) customer: "Do you know it's (sunday) (some holiday that we still work), (ect)?" my reply: "Well sir/maam, I am aware of what day it is, and do you really think if I wasn't SUPPOSED to be here that I would have came to this building today, broken in, found YOUR number and called you for my health?"
I say DOWN WITH STUPIDITY AND LACK OF COMMON SENSE!!! VIVA LA RESISTANCE!!

I've been meaning to say that he's the reason I'm so miserable, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Part of me is afraid of what he'll do if I say it.
