I don't really think fifty is appropriate, seeing we started with just 13, and we only had 48 at the start of World War II (and puerto rico might eventually become a state).
Perhaps Hawaii isn't even in America... if this expansionism carries on, we'll have to think up a new name without America or 50 in it.
United States of America is the best of those. United American States sounds like a multi-governmental body, or a depotic country (like United Arab emerates).
