I am afraid your opinion is biased. Ask yourself if it is absolutely possible to kidnap those navy officers in Iraqi Waters that is well Guarded by both the British and the Americans. I am certain the Iraninans have been waiting for an opportunity where The coalition will stray into thier territory. They need a leverage to bargain on for different intentions and the British officers provided that leverage.
Don't even talk about war now cause If anybody is going to start a war with IRAN, I am certain Britain will not make that mistake; Not because they won't win, but the price is not worth it.

A more measured approach is required in this situation. Sure, it could well be construed as an act of war, but that would just play into the Iranian's hands. They want to provoke a reaction, either from the UK or the US in support of the UK.
A similar event happened three years ago with 8 or 9 Marines and all were released after three days or so. The UK is doing the right thing keeping it's head and being civil.
If the detainees are harmed, then yes, that would be cause for action of some kind. Detainees killed? Nuke 'em.

Iran will proceed to tug this variety of stunt till a significant decision is sanctioned with the help of the UN with all of the secure practices Council individuals status enterprise at the back of it. besides the fact that, in fact, this won't take place. The UN is the only maximum valueless entity on the diplomatic airplane. because of fact the industrialized western international relies upon on middle eastern oil, that's at Iran's mercy; till we are in a position to cajole different islamic countries interior the area to connect mutually to exert stress. the priority with it is that the extremist islamic fundamentals have already exchange into too huge a possibility even to those regimes, to no longer point out a possibility in eastern Europe. in basic terms the common Iranians can carry forth exchange in the event that they are able to looking a thank you to topple the ruling mullah and the terrorist President that presently is taking their us of a to the threshold of war. definite, war. that's the only element brutal regimes comprehend.

its a clever move, its a resolve tester, it will test britain and america. iran knows the problems against the war in england
and america by civilian opposition, also our gov and the media have been bragging how stretched we are, and how we are dismantling our forces. always thought that sort of thing should be secret, and make youself appear stronger than what you are. If those troops had been killid in battle it would be soon forgotten, but their is more political power in keeping people than killing them its an edge.

its a good question, and while i wouldn't advocate all out war i would like to see tony Blair coming on TV and addressing the nation on how things stand, and showing at least that he does indeed have some backbone, I'm sure bush would have gone on TV and spoke to the Americans and told the Iranians some home truths
i doubt that one realjava your answer would be too predictable

i think any honest person knows, the british were caught out,and its all an excuse to attack iran,we all know that.what i cant handle is lies, why doesnt america admit to the world it knows it is hated by a lot of countries, and that if those countries had the bomb they would use it against america.the british are one of the toughest forces in the world but i hope they will stop aiding and abetting america and be more like france and germany.

Poor Brits, living in a country teeming with Muslims just waiting to blow themselves up, and while on the dole, no less.
Its gotta suk knowing your tax pounds are going to pay people who preach their hatred of you in your own streets, and laugh all the way to the bank where they cash their checks.
Lets see Iran take some US Marines....

No, this will be a repeat of the incident in 2004. Just like that time, they were taken to Tehran where they admitted that they had trespassed (true or not) - they will then be released in the next few days, unharmed.

I think that this is the start of another invasion. I think that Iran wanted to stir up trouble as they know there is very mixed feelings in the US and UK about what is happening. I think they see it as an opportunity to cause more unrest in the UK and USA - divide and conquer
