Originally the imitation of wolves stomachs exploding on roar diets of chicken bones is said to have given rise the the phenomenon of Wolf whistling.

The Bavarian bachelors would imitate this sound to show the local girls that they were now ready for the chase.

Simply imagine a wolf with a bad stomach in cold weather making a whistling sound fluctuating in the wind and you should get a pretty good idea.

Technically? You use your index finger and thumb, curl your tongue upwards, place them on top of your tongue, purse your lips and blow!

It takes some practice - good luck :)
