Animal rights campaigners want to kill it because they think humans raising it would be cruel. Naturally, in the wild it would die if it was abandoned like this one.. and that's what they want to happen because it's a 'wild' animal. No doubt these same people go home to their precious pets every night, not even batting an eyelid to the fact that they were originally wild.
The polar bear was born in captivity.. no way can it lead a natural life.

Even if there were plenty of polar bears it should still be allowed to live. Activists say that letting it live would be getting in the way of nature, that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If we left everything up to nature no one would go to the Dr because that would be "getting in the way of nature."

I don't know but just because it was born in captivity it doesn't have to die. It can probaly live very happily if the zookeepers take care of it right. If they kill it I will cry. poor little polar bear.

the activists say that the baby would have died in the wild anyhow like nature intended for both his brother and him. personally i think you have to be pretty heartless to just stand by and watch a baby of any species die.

It wouldn't surprise me if those activists weren't connected with PETA. That's the sort of thing those hypocrates like to do, and then they go home to their own designer pets I'm sure.
