Having it forward when (not wearing a condom) means that the gliding action can make entry easier. But as the others say it's a personal preference. I'm circumcised, worse luck, but that's a known advantage of having a foreskin.

the word is retract.
And if a guy is using a condom, the appropriate procedure is to retract the foreskin fully behind the head and then put on the condom. It keeps the head nicely exposed and hte foreskin safely out of the way during sex.

The foreskin automatically slides up and down during intercourse/masturbation to stimulate the head of the penis. See the gliding mechanism here:

It's a personal choice.

Either way is possible, but if you don't peel back the foreskin prior to intercourse, it will usually retract on its own once the penis is inserted into the vagina.

Well, its different for every guy. Iv seen one or two other uncut guys in my life and I find that if your cock is huge, its hurts to pull back to far, but if you have a smaller one, you can pull it back easily.
Weather they HAVE to pull it back or not is debatable.

Either way, depending on how long you want to last. If you don't have one, you'll never know what I'm talking about, and won't know what you're missing.
