i love this song!! it is my favorite right now. i am going to his (akon) concert. this song is the story of my life. i am dating a guy that my friends are jealous off because i am a freshman and he is a junior (both in highschool of course). and they dont wanna see us togeter. but it dont matter...no. Umm...if I were you I'd "really" listen to why they don't want you together--especially if they're your friends. Is the guy disrespectful to you, does he have a reputation of being a dog, etc? If these are the reasons they don't want you together, then maybe they're not jealous. Maybe they're looking out for your best interest.
Sorry I don't particularly like this Akon song. It sounds really childish...which might be why you like it [being in high school] and I don't [I'm 29]. I don't like the cartoon sounding character singing in the background.
