Maple Leafs vs Sabres Tonite?

who is ready to see the Maple Leafs playoff heart get ripped out of the Air Canada Center tonite?

if the leafs lose tonite they ARE (in all probability) out of the playoffs. So I would say that the Sabres are soley responsible.

oddly enough, I would like to see the leafs gain the 8th seed, so the Sabres can humiliate them in the first round of the playoffs.

I'm a diehard Leafs fan, but recognize their weaknesses just like anyone else, and I'd love for them to be in the playoffs; HOWEVER I don't honestly think the Leafs want to be in the playoffs as much as they profess to be. They have a 3-goal lead, then get sloppy. People are making big waves about how wonderful Raycroft is. He's SLOPPY and goes down wayyy too fast, AND if there's a shootout, he's lost more games than he's won. He plays too many games, and that might be part of the problem as well.
The Leafs need to play a more disciplined game of hockey, and games aren't won in the penalty box. Depending heavily on Mats Sundin isn't the answer either. The whole team needs to dig deep, play together, and play to win rather than protect the lead in order to win more games, especially the crucial games. Last year, it came down to mathematics. The Leafs played a fantastic game yet as soon as another team won, therefore making it virtually impossible for the Leafs to gain a playoff birth, they played one of the worst games I can remember. Management won't spend the money on great trades, or even to acquire a top notch player and why should they...the A.C.C. is practically full on any given game night. It's been 40 years since the Stanley Cup was won by the Leafs, and I don't see it happening any time soon, I'm afraid.
So..I think it will be Buffalo over the Leafs by a 2-1 margin for tonight's game.

Doesn't matter what happens tonight at all. Fact is that when the Sabre's decide to skate and move the puck with speed to the net the Leafs have no answer. If the Leafs make 8th spot they would be facing the Sabre's in round 1, so really the Leafs would be looking at stretching their season by only 4 - 5 games if they actually make the playoffs.

After last night's game, I feel like I have a hangover. But I'm ready for revenge........ BIG TIME! We shall see if anyone is eating their words tonight. I keep the faith like all Leafs fans do.

I Think the Leafs Coach really was angry with the team.So ill say the leafs will win tonight. I think their coach taught them a lesson yesterday. After they were leading 4-1 in 3rd they gave up 4 goals in 3rd and lost 5-4.
