They don't have a mascot. They are known as the Harvard Crimson after their school color. There have been a handful of Ivy League grads who have played in the NFL such as Jason Garrett (Princeton) who played for the Cowboys, Calvin Hill (Yale) also the Cowboys, Chuck Bednarik (Penn) with the Eagles and currently Jim Finn (Penn) who is with the NY Giants.
Here is the 2006 Ivy League ranking:
Princeton 6-1
Yale 6-1
Harvard 4-3
Cornell 3-4
Pennsylvania 3-4
Columbia 2-5
Brown 2-5
Dartmouth 2-5

They are the Harvard Crimson(the color). Compared to the Ivy League they are OK but they don't have a good football program compared to they D1 teams. Only player I can think of in the NFL is Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick was an awesome quarterback for Harvard and is currently the third string quarterback for the St.Louis Rams (drafted in the seventh round). Two years ago he entered the game after Jamie Martin was injured in the second quarter and led the Rams from a 24-3 halftime defecit to a 33-27 overtime win, throwing for 310 yards and three touchdowns.*
*Against the Texans.

Um, guys don't go to Harvard for the Football team. The team is a powerhouse in the Ivy League. The Ivy league is not great.

Well I think they may be decent among Ivy League, but um No they aren't a good team as in competing at BCS level. I think there was a QB drafted with the last pick just about 3-4 years ago.

are you kidding? harvard is known for football. what else? do you not remember the 1974 game versus norte dame? harvard was trailing by 6 points when the quarterback for harvard bombed it to the little known wide out at the time pointdexter crakentree, aka bookworm? what a catch. the football got wedged right in the mask and he ran it in for a td!
