It's great that you're taking advanced courses, but it sounds as if you are struggling with them. Speak with your teachers about getting extra help and try to catch up, get more in synch with your current courses. If you REALLY apply yourself the rest of this year and next, you may still end up fine, able to get into a 4 year university/college. There are many state schools, as well as private, that admit 50%+ of applicants, and that is not terribly selective and you should be able to get into one that's of interest to you. Buckle down, and also try to do as others have mentioned...participate in some extracurricular activities, like sports, clubs, etc. Try to get close with 1-2 teachers so that they know how hard you are applying yourself and can help you with positive letters of recommendation for your college applications.

Best of luck to you. Even though you are struggling, I admire you for having goals and aspirations. Keep it up. Go for it.

You shouldn't be taking AP Lit if you have a 1.38 in tenth grade and 2.5 in 11th. The reality is you're only real hope is community college, and with you HS GPA you have to get at least a 3.0 to have a hope of getting into a 4 year university.

Very doubtful. You should never have been placed in advanced classes with a GPA like that.
