I like the leaves when they are still green, alive and still attached to the trees.
Kind of hard to hide in a tree without any leaves.

It's all depend to the purpose. I like alive leaves in a hot summer days to give me some shades and beautiful scenery but I like dead leaves too for my compost pile to give me a good natural fertilisers for my gardens.

Dead leaves tend to be on the ground where you have to rake them up, I prefer them when they are still on the tree. Looks better too.

Still Alive but I do like the way they sound when your stepping on them.
