Talk Talk have a good deal on at present - they match BT for the land line price and their Broadband monthly charge is about £10 depending on where you live in the UK - this also gives you free calls to any other landline in the UK, at any time (24/7).
They had a lot of problems a few months ago because they were inundated with new subscribers, but I understand they have sorted out all the problems now.

If you have sky tv you may be entitled to free broadband. For a 1 off £40 connection fee you can receive free broadband up to i think 1 mgb or you can pay a £20 connection fee and £5 a month for upto 2 mgb or its free connection and £10 a month for up to 8 mgb.Look on the sky broadband website. i'm on the free one and have had no problems at all. Hope this helps.

i dont think there is much difference between all of them...they start off with a fantastic offer to get you on the hook so to speak - then they hike the price up a bit and they all end up being roughly the same price. it also depends what speed you want...i think ntl start from around 17.99 per month for the basic..and the faster modems at around 25.00 a month.

according to confused.com which has a comparison service - aol is marginally the cheapest from BT - but in my experience aol can be a pig with setup and other programs etc - my advice go bt - they offer 8 meg.
