"Silverea" gave you a good answer. Langenscheidt's has very good dictionaries - and if you can, you also should buy some good text books with phrases from German to English (and back). Go to a good bookstore in Berlin and ask for some good English/German or German/English text books! Unfortunately, good books are a bit expensive over here in Germany.
Good luck!

Greetings from Germany...

Are you allowed to have pets the place you reside now? do you know one hundred% which you would be waiting to maintain the kitten once you come back back to the U. S.? Do you have $2000+ in the economic business enterprise to pay for the cat's preliminary expenditures and cope with any unpredicted vet costs that could get up? in certainty that no animal safeguard will undertake to somebody who isn't an eternal resident and no real breeder will sell you one the two. I rescued a kitten on an identical time as i replaced into on forex in Finland 2 years in the past and introduced her domicile with me. It replaced into not an undemanding job and not some thing i might have performed if I had not general for particular that i ought to grant her an eternal, solid domicile. i can inform you at the instant that i don't experience sorry approximately it - she's an spectacular cat and has adjusted nice to being in the U. S.. yet once you're actually not arranged to do yet it takes to substantiate a kitten is happy and healthy then do not undertaking. it rather is not undemanding sufficient having a puppy devoid of all the greater effective complication of shifting it to a diverse continent. in the 1st 2 months of rescuing my kitten I had spent over 500€ on factors and vet costs, then she broke her leg and it value me yet another one thousand€ or with the objective to repair it. Coming domicile, it replaced into one greater $seventy 5-one hundred fifty **consistent with leg** of my flight to convey her on the plane. in case you're desperate and you have the time and funds then it particularly is achieveable to get an animal on an identical time as interpreting overseas and placed across it back with you. yet you ought to get previous the "i'm lonely and desire a chum" element and be elementary with your self approximately however if or not you're particularly able to look after a puppy appropriate now.
